Studio Notes
A quiet journal or shape, rhythm, and reflection
These notes are small records from the studio - brief moments caught between brushstrokes, thoughts that arrive while I’m trying not to think, and recurring shapes I don’t always understand but keep painting anyway.
I use this space to track the invisible layers of my work; the things I notice, question, and return to. Sometimes a single image and a few words are enough. Other times, I let the writing take the lead.
These aren’t essays or polished posts. They’re slow, reflective, and a bit like my paintings - open to interpretation, mood-driven, and made from the inside out.
For anyone wandering here: welcome. This is the part of my practice that often goes unseen.

When Memories Resurface in Color
Finishing this piece became more than completing a visual idea; it became an emotional bridge between memory, place, and the present self.
