You can see spread paint dappled across the surface like clouds or surf foam, and a swoop motif recurring in my recent paintings. Living close to the ocean subconsciously impacts me and what I paint. I am interested in what makes us feel alive.
I intuitively explore ideas and feelings through the process of painting and often arrive at something resembling a land/seascape.This painting featured in the Huntington Beach art Center in 2021 Surf exhibition and Costa Mesa, City of the Arts, Art Venture 2022 Exhibition.
