Living close to the ocean has a subconscious impact me and what I paint. I am interested by what makes us feel alive.
I intuitively explore ideas and feelings through the process of painting and often arrive at something resembling a land/seascape.
Making this work in this series I was thinking about the creative process as a means for reflecting on life and experiences, while simultaneously creating new connections, and putting thoughts into action. It is a meditative and stimulating process at times, and ultimately a rewarding one.
$925 = approximately 700 pounds sterling
SHIPPING: Large paintings require a bespoke packing and shipping cost depending on your chosen method of delivery and where you are in the world. For international deliveries the recommended option is to remove the painting from the stretcher bar frame and ship rolled, this is a much less expensive option than box shipping. Please send me an email so we can discuss the options, or if you want to secure this painting, you can pay for it now, add a basic rate of shipping at check out and we can balance shipping costs later, I will invoice you if the actual cost is higher, refund you if it is less. If you are near to Orange County, I will personally deliver it for free or you may collect it from my studio.
